GRAMMAR 150
ART PRIZE
In 2025, Toowoomba Grammar School celebrates 150 years since the foundation stone was laid.
This momentous occasion will be marked with a series of celebrations throughout the year, including the release of a very limited series of fine art prints.
Last year artists were invited to put forward a concept design for an original art work, no smaller than 420 x 594 mm (A2) and no larger than 594 x 841 mm (A1), that best represented Toowoomba Grammar School. Three proposals were selected to be developed into the final original artworks.
The chosen artworks have been acquired by the school and will be used for promotional materials during the Sesquicentenary. There are only 50 prints available and each has been individually signed by the artist. The prints are now available for purchase, with the original works to be auctioned off at the Gala dinner.
These prints have been produced on 320gsm 100% smooth cotton rag using the best archival Giclée technique and no optical brighteners. In the right conditions, these prints can last for 200 years. Prints come safely stored in a cardboard cylinder.
