Samantha Tidbeck

Samantha Tidbeck is a Sydney based artist who has been exhibiting and teaching for 30 years both in Sydney and overseas.

Born in London (1968) and raised both there and in Sydney, she studied first at National Art School (1991) then later at Charlie Sheard Studio School (2000). She also spent five years based in Genoa, Italy, painting and exploring and working in Europe.
In addition, Samantha has taught painting and drawing - for many years in Sydney, both through adult education institutions and privately.
She works intermittently on projects for TV and film.

Represented by Ian Hadlow at Antique Decorative Art in Sydney’s Potts Point and Grainger Galleries in Canberra, Samantha has also been represented by a number of commercial galleries over the years including Project Gallery90 Charles Hewitt Gallery, Rushcutters’ Bay Gallery, Cutcliffe Gallery and Barry Stern among others.

She is a finalist in the Portia Geach Memorial Art Award, Mosman Art Prize and Waverley Art Prize

Samantha Tidbeck’s work is represented in private collections in Australia and Internationally.
