Collection: Lucette Dalozzo

Lucette Dalozzo

Lucette Dalozzo is a Belgian-born Australian artist whose career spans more than five decades. Known for her Romantic Impressionist style, her work is recognised for its vibrant colour, layered texture and strong narrative presence.

Trained in Belgium, Lucette established strong technical foundations before relocating to Australia with her husband, Louis. It was here that her distinctive artistic voice developed, leading to national and international recognition. Working primarily in oil and mixed media, her paintings combine expansive surfaces with rich colour layering to create works that are visually compelling and emotionally engaging.

Lucette has exhibited extensively in both solo and group exhibitions throughout Australia and internationally. Her work is held in private collections across Australia, the United States, Japan and Belgium.

In 1986, Lucette exhibited in Los Angeles in The New Outback — Australian Art Today at the Design Center of Los Angeles, a major showcase of top contemporary Australian artists presented during a significant period of international promotion of Australian culture in the United States during the global success of Australian cinema at that time.
